CHARLIE Sheen wannabes in North Perth are still making life a misery for local residents, partying all night and then sleeping off benders on mattresses in the street.

Last week the Voice reported that revelers in a Homeswest building in York Street, and their friends, had installed a bed in a nearby car park to sleep off hangovers.

Vincent council removed the bed last week, but resilient party-goers installed a new mattress days later and continue to party at the department of housing flats.

Local resident John Cleary says he appreciates the efforts of local police and Vincent Council but is still awaiting a response from minister for housing Troy Buswell.

“The minister, Mr Troy Buswell, has not bothered to reply to communication about the ongoing anti social behaviour,” he says.

“Residential amenity has not been restored and sleep remains a precious commodity around 30 York Street.

“The Police arrived this morning to find the mattress empty after a report of it being slept in last night.”

Wembley police station senior sergeant Vic Hussey confirmed the police had attended the homeswest building again last week.

Media spokesperson Jaimee Motion confirmed minister Buswell had received correspondence from Mr Cleary and would be responding “soon”.
