THE short term spruce up of the Perth Cultural Centre is finished.
The ‘revitalisation’ works which were aimed at softening the edges of the urban setting, include an orchard opposite the art gallery and native wetlands which features a stage for outdoor performances.

It’s becoming more difficult for Perth to attract international students.
This is according to Mike Ryan who heads up Perth Education City, an organisation which promotes WA as a place to study.
Mr Ryan says funding cuts have reduced their ability to market Perth as a destination because they have had to trim back on promotion and sponsorship which makes them visible in other countries.
